I've spent enough time moaning that most CE knives don't have the plain edge were I want, that eventually decided to fix it for myself.

I'll report back on how it works in use in a few months, but early signs are good. Even with the alleged work hardening SE H1 didn't seem any harder to grind than in plain edge.
