Micro Burr? (4 replies)

So something that popped into my head last night during one of my insomnia bouts was the idea or a micro burr.
Is that a thing?

If we can over sharpen while grinding the secondary bevel then can the same thing be true when we are applying a micro bevel? Let's say we properly sharpen using the plateau method and perfectly prepare the edge for the micro bevel with no damaged steel.

If we apply too many light elevated passes while doing the micro bevel what would happen?
Is there even enough steel present in that small area to make it possible?

I know this probably isn't a practical issue, I bring it up as more out of curiosity.
